Morzine isn't just about skiing and snowboarding. So if skiing isn't your thing or you want to try something different then we are sure you will find something here for you. We want you to get the most out of your stay in Morzine and are happy to help you book these activities and provide you with transport if necessary we might even be tempted to join in!! We can also arrange alternative day trips to Chamonix, the medieval town of Yvoire or Annecy or the thermal spas in Lavey.

Snowshoeing.
There are 107km of snowshoe tracks in the Area, so there is plenty of exploring to do We are able to hire you snow shoes and if you would like we can arrange ½ or whole day excursions with a guide who will point out all the mountains and show you the flora and fauna. You can even take an evening excursion and have a traditional Savoyard meal on the mountain afterwards

Sledging.
It is possible to take sledges out into the garden of the chalet and play around there. Alternatively we can arrange for you to take a night time descent with Indiana'ventures'. You take up the Pleney Cable car to the top of the mountain, have a vin chaud to get rid of the nerves at the top and then once the Pistes have shut take the thirty-minute descent along the forest-lined slopes of the Pleney into Morzine.

Ice Diving.
In winter Lake Montriond freezes over, and it is possible therfore to go ice diving!! The dives are organised by the Cameleon Organisation who provide you with all the equipment and a qualified instructor. Not for the faint hearted!!!

Parapenting.
Experience stunning views of Morzine from the sky, whilst flying tandem with a fully qualified pilot. For the more adventurous take a course which will lead to a solo flight!!!!

Ice Falls Climbing.
Once the weather is cold enough, the waterfalls of Gachette, Dame du lac and Brocheaux turn into frozen columns, and they lend themselves to ice-climbing. A guide from Morzine will take you and supply you with all the appropriate equipment such as crampons, ice-axes, and ice-screws

It is also possible to do many of the following activities, ski-dooing, dog sled rides, torch lit descents, helicopter rides and hot air ballooning.
